AMO's Comprehensive Product Line Reviewed by Russ Trenary, EVP, at the 2007 AAO meeting
At the recent AAO meeting, Russ Trenary, EVP for Global Public Policy and Medical Education sat down to discuss AMO's product line headed into 2008 with Wendy Lee MD, oculoplastics editor for OphthalmologyWeb. Some of these are the "iLasik" suite of corneal reshaping systems including the Intralase and VISX systems with wavefront, the new Signature phacoemulsification platform with WhiteStar technology, and the new Technis one-piece IOL. Mr Trenary also shared his own experiences having been a recipient of a ReZoom lens last year resulting from premature cataract formation. AMO will release a Technis multi-focal in the months to come.
